Welcome to Battle+
Battle+ is a competitive poker app where you test your GTO skills in real-time head-to-head battles. Challenge friends, match with random opponents, and climb the global leaderboard.
Getting Started
When you open Battle+ for the first time, you'll see the Account Gateway with two options:
Sign Up
Create a new account by choosing a username and password.
Log In
Already have an account? Enter your credentials to jump back in.
Once signed in, you'll land on the Home Screen with full access to all features.
Start a Battle
Random match or challenge a specific player

Home Screen
The Home Screen is your main hub — see your stats at a glance, jump into a battle, and check who's online.

Navigation Drawer
Swipe from the left edge or tap the hamburger menu icon to access:

Starting a Battle
Tap the Play button on the Home Screen or navigate to Battle from the drawer menu to reach the Battle Hub.
Battle Hub Tabs
Tab 1: Start Battle
This is where you kick off a new game. Choose your opponent, set the timer, and select the game type.
Tab 2: Leaderboard
A quick-access leaderboard view right within the Battle Hub. Tap any player to view their detailed profile and stats.
Tab 3: Open Challenges
Manage all your pending challenges — incoming, outgoing, and accepted rematches ready to play.
Starting a New Battle

1Choose Your Opponent
Tap Start Random Battle to get matched with any available player instantly, or search by username to challenge a specific player directly.

2Set the Timer
Choose how long each player has to make decisions (default is 10 seconds).

3Select Game Type
Pick the poker format you want to play.

4Start!
You'll be taken to the matchmaking screen where the app searches for your opponent. Once found, the battle begins.
Playing a Battle
Real-time head-to-head GTO competition. Make your decisions quickly and accurately to outscore your opponent.

Search Screen
After starting a battle, your profile appears on the left and a spinning indicator searches for your match. Once an opponent is found, their info appears and the battle begins.
Battle Screen
Timer
A countdown at the top shows how much time you have left for each decision. Keep an eye on it — running out of time costs you points.
Game Board
The poker scenario is displayed in the centre with all the information you need — hole cards, community cards, pot size, and positions.
Action Buttons
Tap Fold, Call, or Raise to make your GTO decision. Both players' ratings and avatars are visible throughout.
Battle Results
When the battle ends, see who won, review your performance, and request a rematch.
Battle Summary
See who won, the final scores, and how your ELO rating changed based on the result and your opponent's strength.
Detailed Statistics
Review your performance with hand-by-hand breakdowns — see exactly which decisions cost you points.
Rating Change
Your ELO rating goes up or down based on the result. Beating higher-rated opponents earns more points.
Rematch
Want another round? Tap the Rematch button to send a rematch request to your opponent.
Challenges & Rematches
Battle+ has a full challenge system so you can play with specific opponents whenever you want.
Sending a Challenge

1Search for a Player
From the Battle Hub, search for a player by username.

2Send the Challenge
Send them a challenge with your preferred game settings. The challenge appears in your Outgoing Challenges tab while you wait.
Receiving a Challenge

1Get Notified
You'll receive a notification when someone challenges you.

2Accept or Decline
Open the Open Challenges tab in the Battle Hub. Tap an incoming challenge to accept it and start the battle.
Rematches
How Rematches Work
After any battle, either player can request a rematch by tapping the Rematch button on the results screen. Your opponent will see the request in their Open Challenges tab. Once accepted, the rematch begins immediately.
Leaderboard
See how you rank against all Battle+ players worldwide, sorted by ELO rating.
Ranked List
Browse all players sorted by ELO rating. Each entry shows rank, username, rating, and win/loss record. Rankings update in real time as battles complete.
Player Details
Tap any player on the leaderboard to view their detailed profile — full stats, performance history, win/loss record, and rating progression.
Battle Archive & Replay
Review all your past battles and replay them move by move to improve your GTO strategy.

Navigate to the Battle Archive from the drawer or Battle Hub to see your complete battle history.

2View Battle Details
Tap any battle to see a comprehensive breakdown — final scores, outcome, hand-by-hand decision review, and ELO rating changes.
Battle Replay
Step-by-Step Replay
Open a battle from your archive and tap Replay to step through the entire battle. Analyse each decision at your own pace to identify where you went right and where you can improve.

Personalise your presence and manage your account.
Edit Profile
Change Avatar
Select a new profile picture or upload your own (with crop support).
Update Profile Info
Edit your display details so other players can recognise you in battles and on the leaderboard.

Don't rush your decisions, but don't let the clock run out either. Practice finding the balance between speed and accuracy.
Review Your Battles
Use the Replay feature in the Battle Archive to study your decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Challenge Strong Players
Playing against higher-rated opponents is the fastest way to improve and climb the leaderboard. You earn more ELO for beating stronger players.
Keep Notifications Enabled
Stay notified about incoming challenges so you never miss a match or rematch request.
Track Your Progress
The Past Battles Chart on the Home Screen shows your performance trends over time — use it to spot improvement patterns.
