The streets are poker's four betting rounds: preflop, the flop, the turn, and the river. Each street is a separate round of betting, and after preflop each one reveals community cards that every player can use.

What are the four streets in poker?

A hand of Texas Hold'em is played over four streets. The word "street" simply means one betting round together with the cards dealt for it.

How does each street work?

Preflop is the first round. Each player has two private hole cards and betting starts after the blinds are posted.
